Our client, a leader in the banking sector, is seeking experienced Technical Delivery Managers to join their team. With the goal of centralising all IT services and delivering a simplified and sustainable service for the future, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Role: Technical Delivery Manager

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Leeds (Hybrid 2 days in office)

Rate: £600 - £650 per day (umbrella) also PAYE Option

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of IT Networks, supporting the opening of a new data centre. You will work closely with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure a smooth transition and provide technical guidance to enable efficient incident management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively implementing IT Network projects, ensuring technical capability is in place to support potential incidents.
  • Driving projects forward using your technical expertise to aid decision making.
  • Ensuring key deadlines are met and risks are mitigated within project timelines.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and driving changes as part of a Change Management programme.
  • Ensuring the Bank's risk management frameworks are followed to minimise exposure to adverse influences.
  • Delivering excellence by utilising the Bank's existing development framework to provide opportunities for growth.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects in a Data Centre environment.
  • Track record of implementing and leading improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in taking projects through a governed process into a live environment.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage project finances and resources effectively.
