The company
A leading multi-disciplinary engineering group with an annual turnover of over £100 million, who offer specialised engineering solutions to many big-name clients across the UK. After securing several long-term contracts with key customers, the company are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team to one of their key client sites in Sheffield.
 

The role
Now looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team to provide planned and reactive maintenance tasks to upkeep site equipment to current legislation and standards. Working 7:30-4pm Monday to Friday, with lots of overtime available.


You will take responsibility for:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on all non-essential equipment
  • Conduct repairs on all components of the equipment, demonstrating strong technical expertise and ensuring safe and effective fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Support the enhancement of the plant and equipment to contribute to site improvements, including technical corrective actions and health and safety


What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

  • Experience working as a Refrigeration, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, working in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Knowledgeable in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Previous experience working within food manufacturing or similar environments
  • A Diploma in Refrigeration (C&G 6187-02)
  • C&G 2079-11 F-Gas


Other DESIRABLE skills include:

  • One of the following electrical certifications- C&G 2330/2351/2355or C&G 236 Parts A&B or C&G 2360 Parts 1&2
