We are working with a civil & structural engineering consultancy that is renowned for working on a diverse range of projects, and has expertise in commercial, residential, leisure, healthcare, education, and restoration projects! Buildability is a major aspect of their approach, and they are always focused on producing sustainable and practical construction solutions.

They are currently recruiting for a Graduate Engineer to join their structural engineering team in Cardiff, ideally with a MEng qualification and an understanding of structural modules. You will work alongside around 10 other engineering professionals to overcome a variety of design and construction method challenges. Initially starting your career on the drawing side utilizing AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla to name a few software packages, you’ll then quickly progress onto your own projects working closely alongside more experienced Structural Engineers, shadowing their work.  

The successful Graduate Structural Engineer will be joining a sociable team that enjoy regular group events while working from accessible offices with plenty of parking!

What are we looking for from the successful Graduate Structural Engineer?

• MEng level qualification in Civil Engineering or BEng and Structural specific masters
• Outgoing, sociable, willing to ask questions and able to communicate with clients from the start
• Familiar with software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit or Tekla Structures.
• Experience in Structural or Civil Engineering would be highly advantageous.

The salary on offer ranges from £25,000-£35,000 – this isn’t set in stone and depends on the level of experience and expertise you bring, for fresh graduates, salary would be at the lower end of the scale. The company are big advocate for progression, and they will support you with any further education or qualifications you would like to achieve!
