An experienced Cricket Social Media Executive with social media management experience is needed to join our team at Gunn & Moore, a leading manufacturer of cricket equipment based in Nottingham, on a full-time basis. 

We seek a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to manage and grow our presence across various social media platforms. The Social Media Executive will develop engaging content, build community engagement, and drive brand awareness through strategic social media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling and relevant content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X), including posts, stories, videos, and graphics that resonate with our target audience and align with brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions to build and nurture a vibrant online community of cricket enthusiasts.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns to achieve marketing objectives such as increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and optimization, as well as staying up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and best practices to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, athletes, and brand advocates to amplify our social media presence, reach new audiences, and enhance brand credibility within the cricket community
  • Utilise social media analytics tools to track performance metrics, analyse data, and generate insights to optimise content strategy, improve engagement, and drive continuous improvement in social media performance.
  • Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns by leveraging social media channels to amplify campaign messaging, drive participation, and generate buzz around key initiatives and product launches.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media trends to identify opportunities for innovation and keep our social media content fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.

Required Skills: 

  • Experience in social media management, preferably within the sports or lifestyle industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for content creation.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work flexibly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment..
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Passion for cricket and a genuine interest in sports marketing and social media.
