Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading fabrication business based in Rotherham.

Our client is a growing provider of specialist products, systems and services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process Industries.

The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication shop and nationwide as required to suit business needs.

Accommodation and food will be provided whilst working away.

Coded TIG welder
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

Rate:

£18.00-£20.00 per hour

Overtime: time and a half after 37.5hours

Overview of the role of a TIG welder:

  • Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
  • Product mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
  • Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder)
  • Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
  • Correct use of All PPE - Weld fume & RPE
  • Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming to all hot work safety regulations
  • Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years Weld Experience
  • Coded welder
  • Rigging / Slinging at advantage
  • Forklift licence / Experience
  • Confined spaces
  • RPE / BA / Experience
  • Must hold a current driving license
