dcoded have partnered with a boutique eCommerce SaaS company specialising in developing cutting-edge white-label solutions for the retail industry. Their product/platform empowers retailers to launch their own branded online stores, leveraging robust and scalable software. As they continue to grow and innovate, they are seeking a passionate Junior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic development team.

The Role

As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of their SaaS platform. You will work closely with our senior developers and product team to build and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our software. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js, Node.js, and JavaScript.
  • Assist in the creation of user-friendly, responsive front-end interfaces and ensure seamless integration with back-end services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and learning from senior developers.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to improve the functionality and user experience of our platform.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of new releases, ensuring high-quality software is delivered to our customers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve your skills and the quality of our software.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in JavaScript and experience with React.js and Node.js. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and RESTFul API
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and solve technical challenges with creativity and a positive attitude.
  • Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements. Openness to receiving feedback and improving based on it.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with a desire to collaborate and contribute to team success.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to coding, with a focus on delivering high-quality, bug-free software.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Practical experience or coding bootcamp graduates will also be considered.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of commercial experience in full stack development.
