Locum Peripatetic Social Worker - UASC Team

South Wales local authority is seeking a skilled Social Worker to take on a dual role, supporting both our Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) Team and driving Practice Improvement in Intake and Assessment.

• Flexible Hybrid Position: Commit to 3 days a week, with a minimum of 1 day in the office.
• Dual Impact: Lead and manage a dedicated team of 5 UASC practitioners, while also enhancing practice standards within Intake & Assessment.
• Career Development: Play a pivotal role in supporting career progression from Newly Qualified Social Workers to Senior Social Workers, shaping the next generation of leaders.
• Strategic Influence: Get involved in UASC strategic initiatives, ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable children, while contributing to the dynamic and diverse work of Intake & Assessment.
