The School and Role

This large secondary school in Lydiate, Sefton are looking to appoint an experienced behavioural specialist to support a child in a KS4 setting with emotional and behavioural difficulties.  The role will be full-time, starting in September, and will be ongoing, with a strong potential of being permanent should the candidate be the right fit for the child. The school is the largest Catholic secondary school in the Sefton area and were marked as 'Good' in all areas following their most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2022.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary school aged children

-          Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis

-          A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
