Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Business Development Manager / Systems Design and Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on the design and tendering of all systems, and playing a key part in driving sales and profitability across our projects. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the systems design and integration sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.

Systems Design:
- Oversee the design and engineering of various systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of designed systems.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and tender documentation for all systems, including cost estimates and project timelines.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the project lifecycle.

Sales Consultancy:
- Serve as a consultant to clients, offering expert advice on systems design, integration, and overall project feasibility.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to accurately capture client requirements and project scope.
- Lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders to secure profitable contracts.
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in systems design, tendering, and sales within the relevant industry.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, with the ability to deliver profitable projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, technologies, and best practices in systems design and integration.

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex systems and convey this knowledge to clients.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.

Other Requirements:
- (Epping, Essex) due to the majority of work being in the London area.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs and attend site visits.
