This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who provide a specialist services to various projects across the UK and overseas. Their sustainability team is expanding, and they are on the lookout for an established energy & sustainability consultant to hit the ground running and lead on numerous commercial and non-domestic projects in their new offices in Birmingham.
Role responsibilities for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant include:
- Carrying out non-domestic EPC's via SBEM and Design Building modelling software
- Being involved with energy surveying of buildings
- Working alongside clients and residents of the buildings for surveys
- Identifying and providing solutions that will improve energy efficiency
The ideal Energy & Sustainability Consultant will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a relevant role within the construction industry.
- Have an energy assessor qualification such as NDEA or OCDEA
- Proficient with IES-VE and iSBEM software to carry out energy modelling and assessments for projects
- Excellent communication and strong organisational skills
- Full UK driver's license
