Reeson Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism in an ASC provision within a primary school. This role involves working with a mixed class of Year 3 and Year 4 students, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive.

SEN Teaching assistant - Role Highlights:

• Autism Support: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have Autism, helping them to achieve their educational goals.
• ASC Provision: You will be part of a specialised team within an ASC provision, focusing on a small group of primary-aged pupils.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with Autism.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised learning plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is essential.
• A valid DBS check is required, or a willingness to process one through Reeson Education.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, understanding approach.
