Flux Consulting have partnered with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy dedicated to delivering exceptional project management and cost consultancy services across the UK. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the growing team.
Role Overview
In this role, you will take the lead in managing a talented team of three, ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three, ensuring their professional development and optimal performance.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from initial cost estimates through to final accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Cost Management: Provide accurate cost management, cost reporting, and forecasting to ensure project financial targets are met.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their requirements are met with excellence.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, providing strategic advice and solutions.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for senior management and clients, ensuring clear communication of project progress and financial status.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Professional Accreditation: MRICS or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and complex projects.
