My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team based in Warrington.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Baseline Impact Assessments, Hydrological Studies and Surface Water Drainage Strategies.

Candidates are also required to have a keen interest in Project Management and mentoring.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced team of Engineers to complete varied residential, energy, and river projects for Local Authorities, House Builders, Contractors and Private Sector Clients.

Applicants will be required to complete the following;

-Flood risk assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface water management plans.

-Surface water and foul drainage strategies.

-Baseline Assessments.

-Hydrological Studies.

-Pollution prevention.

-SuDS Design using Flow.

-Client meetings to discuss projects progress.

-Project management.

-Team development and mentoring.
