About the Role:

Are you an experienced finance manager or management accountant with a background in manufacturing? Do you hold a CIMA or ACCA qualification, or are you within 6 months of completing your studies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are proud to partner with a successful manufacturing company with a global reach, in search of a qualified and experienced Finance Manager. In this role, you will manage the finance function across our Gloucester site and other UK locations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts. You'll support the UK Financial Controller by providing reliable reporting information and ensuring all financial metrics are well understood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and comprehend the company’s key financial metrics.
• Oversee the finance team, mentor staff, and be accountable for their performance.
• Manage capital and prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports.
• Maintain Liquidated Damages schedules and warranty schedules.
• Focus on manufacturing costs, including accurate absorption of costs, considering factors like standard costs, average time of completion, and actual labour efficiency.

Requirements:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified, or within 6 months of completing studies.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience in Finance Management or as a Management Accountant.
• Advanced IT skills, especially in Excel.
• Confidence in managing a small team and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
