Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: FMCG/Packaging Production Facility
Shift Pattern: No Nights (Early, Day, and Afternoon Shifts)
Salary: £44,000 per annum

Shift Hours:

• Early Shift: 05:00 - 13:00

• Day Shift: 07:00 - 15:00

• Afternoon Shift: 15:00 - 23:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on a wide range of machines and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.

• Rapidly respond to and resolve emergency breakdowns to minimise production downtime.

• Carry out all maintenance activities safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, embracing new technologies and methodologies to enhance production processes.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications: Must be time-served or hold an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline. Ideally, candidates should also have 17th or 18th Edition certification.

• Experience: At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in packaging or FMCG machinery.

• Skills: A systematic approach to problem-solving, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build strong relationships with team members, suppliers, and contractors. Candidates must be flexible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
