My client is an independently owned company that specialises in fire safety works in the construction sector. They've been established for just over 5 years and have been a real success story since their inception, creating a great reputation across a number of sectors that has resulted in repeat business across the majority of their clients.

They're now strategically planning for the next 5 years with some exciting plans for the short and long term, and have highlighted the need to employ a financial controller to join their team. As the sole financial controller within the organisation you will be one of the senior members of the team, and will play an integral role in their future growth.

You will be office based from their premises in Melton Mowbray on a full-time basis. You will take full responsibility for managing the finances of the company, as the sole financial lead you will have responsibility for a wide range of duties including but not limited to:- tax returns, book keeping, monthly payroll, monthly / quarterly financial reporting, offering high level financial guidance to the SMT to support future growth plans etc....

This role would suit someone who is ambitious, but feels limited in their current position - maybe your track to management is limited?
