Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and UKCA procedures, and supporting our internal teams with accurate and timely information. You'll be part of a dynamic, supportive team that values collaboration and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload Drawings: Manage the upload of drawings to file-sharing portals such as Procure, Collabo8online, and 4Projects.
- Drawings Register: Create, raise, and issue drawing registers to ensure accurate tracking of documentation.
- Fabrication/Site Packs: Print and assemble fabrication and site packs as required for project execution.
- Electronic Distribution: Issue drawings electronically to relevant internal departments, ensuring timely distribution and receipt.
- Document Control: Maintain strict control of documents, adhering to ISO9001 and UKCA procedures to ensure compliance and quality management.
Ideal Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, preferably within the construction or fabrication industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using document management systems and file-sharing portals such as Procure, Collabo8online, and 4Projects.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation control.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and manage document-related queries.
Salary
- Depending on experience.
Working Hours
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday
- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday
