We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for care homes, industrial, and retail projects, ensuring all designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop efficient, cost-effective, and innovative mechanical solutions.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess design feasibility and support the implementation of design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design work is completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to final commissioning.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally within the care home, industrial, or retail sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, with a proven ability to develop innovative and practical solutions.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and a strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
