ATA is supporting a rapidly expanding engineering company that provides tailored service solutions to the agricultural sector throughout the East of England and internationally. Our client, established approximately 25 years ago, has built a strong reputation for engineering excellence and has formed partnerships with some of the leading OEMs in their industry. Over the last 10 years, the company has experienced a shift to large scale automation projects and now need to add a automation service engineer to their team.

About the role

As an automation service engineer you will travel to customer sites predominantly in Lincolnshire to complete the following tasks:

• Servicing equipment in conjunction with agreed service contracts.
• Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work
• Fault finding and problem solving.
• Supporting with machine installation and commissioning.

About you

To be considered this automation service engineer role you should have the following:

-        Previous experience working as a service/maintenance engineer.

-        FMCG, Food, agriculture, logistics or automation experience would be beneficial.

-        Experience with PLC and Inverter systems would be beneficial

-        As this is a customer facing role, you should have good written and spoken English communication.

-        Professional approach to engineering.

-        Full clean drivers licence whilst living locally to Spalding.
