On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire a Community Associate.

Our mission is to connect technology, talent and trends from across the Rise ecosystem to accelerate innovation and growth in the financial services industry.

We do this by operating FinTech workspaces in London and New York, and a virtual community in India. Rise is where cutting-edge startups and scale-ups can connect, create and scale their businesses.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working in Rise as the multi-skilled role of Community Associate.

The Community Associate is the primary point of contact for the community acting as the “face” of Rise, leading on ensuring a positive members experience is maintained.

​Rise is a fintech incubator that includes shared working spaces, a podcast studio, a café and events space.

The community host role can include helping with events, on boarding, some reception work, being there to raise FM tickets, getting to know and nurturing relationships with businesses that use the working space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members
  • Ensure that your building is fully operational and processes are running smoothly
  • Drive growth and promotion of Rise-provided service offerings
  • Be the first and last point of contact for your building
  • Cover the front desk during business hours
  • Greet and check-in member guests
  • Work on community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, event support, email and print communications
  • Use available tools to promote events within Rise
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of events, meeting rooms and conference room
  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs; prepare and distribute member welcome gifts
  • Assist with building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • A social butterfly and a self-starter who can motivate themselves
  • Have previous experience in a similar role/co-working environment
  • Highly independent and can manage projects for timely delivery
  • Have exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
  • Have demonstrated professionalism, accountability, self-awareness, and high social intelligence in previous roles
  • Are passionate about entrepreneurship and community building
  • Possess basic computer skills: Microsoft Office
