Our client is currently looking for an Apprentice Multi Skilled Engineer to join their Engineering team. This role is a full time position, based in Sheffield, at the University of Sheffield AMRC, for the 1st year of the apprenticeship. After the first year, you will be based on the client's site in Barnsley, with part time study at college.
What you can expect in this role:

• Assisting Engineers in their day to day duties.
• Performing basic repairs to machinery.
• Attending college on day release to attain an Engineering qualification
• Maintaining Health and safety procedures on site.
• Learning about continuous improvement methods and implementing them into every day operations.

What we need from you:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs, graded A* - C or 9 - 4, including Maths, English and Science.
• A strong desire to learn and develop.
• An interest in Engineering
• Experience within an Engineering environment is advantageous but not essential, this could include hobbies, work experience or studying Engineering related subjects.
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Good IT Skills
