Job Description
Essential Functions:

  • Support the Sales Team in Europe as needed, with a strong emphasis on the design and customisation of data centre solutions.
  • Engage directly with prospects, leading site tours, participating in sales calls, and managing proposal generation, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Design and prepare space plans that integrate seamlessly with the company's data centre offerings, ensuring solutions meet both technical and customer requirements.
  • Create and deliver compelling, customer-facing technical presentations that showcase tailored data centre solutions.
  • Serve as the primary responder to all technical RFP questions from customers, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Assist in developing cost-engineering and profitability models for sales opportunities, with a focus on optimizing design and operational efficiency.
  • Provide key operational and design insights from the sales team to improve future offerings.
  • Liaise with industry professionals, attend technical forums, and stay updated on trends that impact design and customer preferences.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends in prospect, customer, and target tenant bases to inform design and solution development.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, Internet, Enterprise Computing/Software, data security, colocation, hosting, facilities, mission-critical construction, or related fields.
  • Direct experience in sales, sales engineering, or the design and construction of mission-critical facilities, with a strong focus on solution design.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents, with a focus on design standards.
  • Knowledge of installation standards and project tracking/management documents, particularly those related to design implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts and address complex inquiries.
  • Proficiency in making effective written presentations and responding to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
  • High level of commitment to customer service, both for co-workers and clients, with a focus on delivering well-designed solutions.
