About the Role:

Are you an ambitious and strategic professional with a passion for driving business growth? We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to spearhead our expansion across Europe, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe. This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that will enhance our market presence and drive significant sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy & Expansion: Develop and implement innovative market strategies within assigned territories, focusing on expanding our client base and market share in Eastern Europe.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients at both technical and management levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed annual order intake targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Bid Management: Lead the coordination and management of sales bids, working closely with the sales team and other departments to develop compelling proposals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including project execution, commercial, and procurement teams, to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience in business development, particularly within the material handling systems or baggage handling systems markets.
  • Education: A degree-level qualification is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, relationship management, and sales development skills. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
  • Attributes: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to after-sales support.
