Job Purpose:

The role will initially focus on our Telecoms Business and assist in Integrating that Business into Group systems and operations over the remainder of 2024. Post Integration the role will Supervise all the Groups Billing Activities

Responsibilities:
  • The Role will at times be 'hands on' particularly where changes to Best Practice are needed before training the team then supervising the Billing Activity.
  • This will include:
    • Receiving, analysing, and processing billing notices pertaining to telecom and project-based services.
    • Uploading all customer orders and corresponding billing details onto the appropriate systems.
    • Maintaining and updating tariff tables and rate plans on the billing system as required.
    • Carrying out revenue assurance activities which include generating and verifying revenue trends, service-specific reports, margin reports, number audits, contract renewal audits, etc.
  • The Billing Supervisor will endorse and drive all facets of project billing - both one-off and recurring.
  • They should possess the capability to identify potential issues promptly and collaborate with relevant teams to devise solutions.
  • Duties also encompass reconciling externally approved hour reports for accurate billing.
  • They will be responsible for interacting with various stakeholders including finance teams, legal staff, project teams, sales/account managers, client coordinators, credit control personnel, and clients.
  • The capacity to respond swiftly and accurately to all information requests is crucial; these may include reconciliations of client accounts (related to projects/recurring billing) as well as audit information requests
  • Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by your line manager
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Extensive years of professional experience
  • Proven experience with telecoms billing (this is mandatory)
  • Familiarity with project billing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with D365 Business Central preferable
  • Experience of Lifecycle Telecoms Billing Software preferable
  • Experience of Billing Platform Software Preferable
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities and an out of the box thinker
  • Superior communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior experience working with Kantata would be advantageous, though not essential
  • Experience in managing a team is necessary.
