We are looking for Machine Operatives who have experience within either the plastic POS industry or joinery industry and have the motivation and ambition to develop existing skills and take on new challenges.
This exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative, offers full training for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals. You will receive training in CNC Routing specifically operating and setting Axyz,Pacer or Maxicam CNC routing machines.
The Role:-
Reporting to the Workshop Manager – the role will include after training:-
- Setting and operating Axyz and Maxicam CNC routing machines
- Programming the CNC machines
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Machining mainly plastic sheet material
- Maintain a high quality standard to self-check all work
- Undertake standard operator machine checks
Role Requirements:-
- A keen eye for detail
- Competent in Maths and fluent in speaking and reading of the English language
- Computer literate
- Be able to lift and move sheet materials
- Willingness to continuously learn and keep up to date with new procedures
Hours:-
Monday – Thursday 7.45 to 16.30
Friday 7.45 to 15.15
Additional overtime may be required depending on workload with overtime rates paid.
