An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher, specialising in both Spanish and French, to step up into a Head of MFL role at an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in Faversham. Supply Desk are working with the school who are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to lead their MFL department, ensuring high-quality language education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role:

As Head of MFL, you will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and drive forward the department’s success. You will:

• Teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to introduce advanced KS5 teaching in the future
• Lead the MFL department, managing curriculum development and improving student outcomes in language learning
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and deliver an engaging, inclusive curriculum
• Play a key role in supporting the school’s vision for high achievement and exceptional language learning
• Oversee the professional development of the MFL team, offering mentorship and guidance where needed
• Work closely with colleagues to champion the disadvantaged agenda, ensuring all students have access to the very best opportunities
