Food Production Operative

Day to Day Duties:
- Ensuring all products are to a high standard.
- Following recipes.
- Maintaining a clean work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety/ food hygiene regulations.
- Ensuring machines are set correctly.
- Assembling, packaging and labelling.
- Use of mixing machines.
- Lifting to up-to 16kg.
- All other duties as required,
Person Specifications:
- Being able to work in a quick, accurate, efficient manner.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic reading and mathematical skill for following recipes and training manuals.
- Be willing and able to learn practices involving all aspects of the production of food products.
- The ability to work as part of team and make a positive contribution.
- Excellent personal hygiene and an eye for detail.
- Experience working within a production environment, food production would be advantageous
*The successful candidates may be required to work longer hours if needed to complete orders and potentially to cover holidays or sickness*
Hours of work are 7am-2pm, Monday to Friday – finish times can vary to suit the needs of the business.
Hourly rate - £11,44 per hour with all breaks paid.
These roles are being offered on a ‘Temp to Perm’ basis and so we are only looking to hear from candidates looking for long term work.
