We are looking for a “SMarketing Executive/Manager” – yes you read the right – this is a combination of Sales and Marketing to join our team and drive our growth through innovative sales strategies and marketing initiatives.

Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to attract clients.  This role involves generating leads, building relationships, and promoting the company’s brand and services across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales acumen, marketing creativity, and recruitment industry knowledge, albeit we can train on the lack of the recruitment sector knowledge.  We operate in a very competitive sector, with close to 38000 other agencies in the UK alone, 25000 in the US, two key geographies that we want to expand our client base within.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales: Each of the following tasks will be completed working alongside the Managing Director of the business:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, event creating, podcast interviewing, attending expos and recruitment events, attending chamber of commerce events, and prospecting.

Generate and qualify leads, conducting outreach through cold calls, emails, and meetings.  Successfully agreeing potential customers to have Teams, Zooms, Coffees and Face to Face meetings with you and the Managing Director.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.

Negotiate terms of business and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.  This will be a training process as you become more fluent in the role.

Maintain a CRM system to track sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.

Marketing:

Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company’s recruitment services.

Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and the company website to attract potential clients and candidates.

Organize and participate in industry events, webinars, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility.

Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.

Interview exciting guests online as part of our newly formed Podcast series.

Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

Creating and organising Webinars, HR Huddles and Podcasts

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Attributes that are critical to success in this role:
  • Creative, energetic, professional, punctual, organised, driven, focuses,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop, from a cold start, and then maintain relationships with clients
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or related field would be a nice to have – but experience and drive is more important to us than certificates.
  • Proven experience in sales and/or marketing,
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in common marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
