We now seek a Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team, to fulfil day to day duties in the upkeep of the properties and communal areas.

Role and Job Description

The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and involve working closely with all departments to ensure minimal disruption to tenants. You will be responsible for making sure the property is maintained to suitable standards and any issues are addressed in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on a high standard of work and has the ability to prioritise their workload efficiently. General maintenance experience in a domestic setting is essential.

Duties of the Role and Skills Required

  • Maintenance: 2 years (required)

  • Customer service skills

  • Travel to properties across the South East (van provided)

  • Refurbishment

  • General building work

  • Ground works (gardening/weeding)

  • Basic painting and decorating

  • Basic plumbing and electrical skills

  • Repair broken windows

  • Removal of furniture as and when required

  • Small carpentry jobs

  • Installing or repairing appliances

  • Supporting the rest of the team

  • Ability to work in an organised and timely manner

  • Ability to work in a safe manner

  • Valid UK Driving Licence

Schedule

The role will require some travel around the South East and out of hours/weekends will be required once training is complete.
