Are you a seasoned Operations Manager with a passion for driving excellence in a fast-paced production environment? Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead their busy production site.

Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our client’s production operations. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the site runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will oversee all aspects of production, from managing teams and resources to implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the production site, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Oversee the management of production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety across the site.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency.
