Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading service led business who operate nationally to recruit for a Senior Regional Marketing Manager. In this role you will report to a Head of Marketing and manage a marketing team to deliver change and transformation to this renowned business.

Location: West Midlands / Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid in office once a month (some travel to franchises required)

Start date: September - December 2024

The role:

This dynamic role will be responsible for providing marketing strategy, planning and support, and team management across a dedicated region.


The role involves collaborating with multiple business units within the organisation to define, develop, and implement a centralised marketing strategy with clear, measurable targets and data insight-led activities. As part of a collaborative central team, you'll work closely with stakeholders to develop plans that execute the marketing strategy and achieve business goals.

Requirements:

  • Work alongside the team and other marketing members to develop short and long-term marketing strategies.
  • Take ownership of and implement the annual marketing plan and strategy for the region with support from the marketing manager and marketing executive - translating goals and objectives into actionable and measurable marketing plans and strategies based on data insights.
  • Manage, grow, and develop the team.
  • Collaborate with the team on campaign development and ensure sign-off from all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the Digital team to identify focus areas for the marketing plan across all digital channels. Monitor and report on results and trends to inform short and long-term strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team and creative agencies to ensure consistency across all platforms and channels.
  • Lead certain central projects to ensure all channels are maximised and have a clear ROI.
  • Work with the communications team to ensure marketing focuses are communicated and implemented in line with the marketing strategy and plan in place.
  • Maintain key stakeholder communication and management at all times.
  • Use various reporting tools to monitor and report periodically on performance against marketing metrics.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Candidate Criteria:

    • Proven marketing management experience
    • Experience in a multi-site operational business
    • Commercially minded marketing experience with data-driven results
    • Experience in developing and managing brand guidelines
    • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across the business
    • Experience in developing clear and consistent messaging and client journeys
    • Experience working collaboratively across a wider business group
    • Experience in a similar industry
    • Events lead for a large organisation
    • Knowledge of relationship management
    • Understanding of B2B and B2C market dynamics and customer journeys
    • Understanding of service sectors
    • Commercial background
    • Experience with events systems/software
