We have an exciting opportunity to join the Development team. If you are looking for a new role in a great organisation with lots of variety, this could be the role for you!

The Development Programme Team provides effective financial services to the Development Department along with managing the new build development in accordance with the business plan and grant funding requirements.

The Role

As our next Development Programme Officer, you’ll play an integral role in assisting with the management of the development programme and delivery of financial service to ensure all the departments objectives are delivered. You’ll work within a small team to deliver full financial and development programme administrative service, including;

  • Preparation of information for insurance and budgetary reporting,
  • Manage and maintain the department’s management database
  • Provide development information for the Associations Treasury management function in respect of long term borrowings
  • Assist in collating data and information for development reporting purposes.

Requirements

As well as having knowledge of finance activities we are looking for someone with experience in Development administration (or similar field). We are also looking for someone with the below qualities

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of spreadsheets, databases and related applications to retrieve and manipulate complex data.
  • Demonstrable high level of numeracy, IT and literacy skills 
  • Knowledge of current issues affecting Housing Development.

The role will be initially located at our Head Office at Pelham Avenue, Nottingham. NCHA are building a new Head Office on Farnborough Road in Clifton and the role will be based from there from late 2024.

All successful candidates will be required to take a work related test on the day of the interview.
