Machine Shop Manager

• Seeking a proven leader to help improve manufacturing processes whilst developing the team. A good split between process and man management duties.

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Shop Manager to join a growing, engineering SME. The company specializes in low batch projects that are supplied into specialist sectors. As Machine Shop Manager, you will have the chance to implement and improve manufacturing processes to help ensure maximum efficiency across the department.

Salary & Hours: c£45,000 to £50,000 as a guide. Days based role – 7:00am to 3:30pm Mon – Thurs, and a 7:00am – 12:00pm finish on a Friday. 

This Machine Shop Manager job will suit:

• Demonstrable experience with a similar departmental management or supervisory position.
• Proven experience implementing and improving production processes within a CNC capacity.
• Strong communicator and leader. Someone the team will buy into and develop under. The company have plans to introduce more apprentices into the business and training will fall under this position.

• Inspire and mentor the next generation of apprentices, sharing your expertise and fostering their development.

This job is commutable from Nottingham, Beeston, Long Eaton.
