We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, distributing, and maintaining documentation across various projects using our in-house document management system. This role is crucial in ensuring that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to team members and stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Upload, manage, and distribute all project-related documents using our in-house document management system.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all documentation meets company standards and project requirements, including formatting, naming conventions, and version control.
  • Access Control: Maintain document security by managing user permissions and access levels within the document management system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the distribution and approval of documents.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor document status and report on document control metrics, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the use of the document management system and document control procedures.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by organizing and providing access to necessary documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving document management processes and implement best practices.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Document Controller in a construction or engineering environment is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using document management systems, ideally with experience in proprietary or in-house systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions related to document management.
