A Stock and Purchasing Controller is required for a role in the manufacturing industry, focused on procurement and supply chain activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels and managing purchasing activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.

Description

  • Oversee and manage stock control within the organisation.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments
  • Place and manage purchase orders for stock and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in other company projects when required.

Profile

A successful Stock and Purchasing Controller should have:

  • A solid understanding of stock control and purchasing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft software at an intermediate level.
