Job Title: CLASS 1 DRIVER
Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Coventry
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Logistics, Procurement, Distribution and Supply Chain
Salary: £18 - £27 Per hour
Job Duties:- Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Valid Class 1 driving licence
- CPC qualification
- Tacho Card
- Good driving record (No more than 9pts, Must have 12 months experience due to insurance)
- Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver
- Familiarity with relevant routes and locations
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ADR certification
- Work primarily involves driving long distances
- May require overnight stays or irregular hours
- Physical demands including lifting and carrying
