About the role.

In co-operation with the site management team your key responsibilities will be to:

The role of the Process function is to develop manufacturing capability to enable the business to deliver volume from product and packaging concepts. Once a product concept has been signed off, Process will work across all functions and the customer to produce product and packaging in line with food safety and technical standards, H&S, Financial and Commercial expectations.

Job Purpose:

To support the development and process function in accordance to Bakkavor and customer principles in a fast-paced challenging environment.

Team:

Responsible for the site Packaging Technologists across Devizes and Highbridge and Process Administrator at Highbridge.

About you.

The Ideal candidate will/have :
  • Shows drive and enthusiasm for further understanding of food manufacturing within the Process Function
  • Work at pace, shows a level of resilience and is adaptable to changes in the working day
  • Developed ability to manage workload and prioritise independently and for the rest of the team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail, is able to prepare work in a timely manner
  • Is a self-starter who is inquisitive and driven to improve
  • Basic numeracy and literacy, fluent English, basic MS Office skills
  • Has worked within a packaging role for an FMCG business
  • Strong understanding of various materials, carton board, film, plastic, corrugate etc
  • PIABC Level 3 or Level 5 in Packaging Technology - preferred but not essential
