The Company:

My client are a rapidly growing business that show no signs in slowing down any time soon. Their growth strategy has now meant that a new role has become available for a Reliability Engineer to join the team on site that boasts a clear structured progression route. With Shift Engineers, Project Engineers, Reliability Engineers and a management structure, there is opportunity for long term development and progression within the site.

As the business continues to grow, the need for a Reliability Engineer to come in and work alongside the Engineering Manager and Reliability team has become apparent. The Engineering team here is ambitious and works together to reach their shared goals. There is a fantastic opportunity here to join a growing business, at a world class manufacturing facility, with the backing of some fantastic Engineers.

The Role:

The Role of Reliability Engineer will include the following:

  • Looking after a specific area of the factory, looking for long term improvements that can be made to improve OEE
  • Work alongside the Shift Engineers, supporting them with effective and efficient ways of working
  • Complete Root Cause Analysis on re-occurring faults and then work on these issues and Engineer them out
  • Autonomy within the role to make changes and improvements as you see fit
  • Working in a multi-skilled capacity both Electrically and Mechanically
  • Understanding the processes that are currently in place on site and modifying these where possible for reduction of waste, increasing efficiency or improving quality

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Reliability Engineer will be/have

  • A recognised Engineering Qualification
  • Experience working as an Engineer within a Process Environment
  • Be a strong communicator, able to talk with all relevant parties on site from Operations to Engineering
  • Have a willingness to learn and improve technically as an Engineer
  • Strong analytical skills, being able to delve deep into a problem rather than just fixing it continuously
