Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ a new Commercial Insurance Sales Executive. As the job title suggests, you will need to have an aptitude for sales in this role. This is largely a telephone based role.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE plus commission - realistic OTE £45k/£50k plus

About the Company: An established independent broker. Providing solutions to a wide-rage of Commercial clients.

About the role: You'll be responsible for dealing with new commercial lines customers with risks ranging from Property Owners, Commercial Combined to Professional Indemnity and Motor Fleet etc with the emphasis on new business. With the help of the senior management team you will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

Main duties in this role:

  • Responsible for growing our clients commercial clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
  • Be a point of referral within the team
  • Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
  • Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.
  • Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business

The skills you'll bring to the role:

  • Thorough commercial insurance insurance knowledge is essential
  • Minimum two years experience dealing with commercial insurance clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Organised and effective worker
  • Hit KPI's and have a real passion for new business
