About the School: 

Supply Desk are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Horsham with strong academic attainment and excellent facilities. They are looking to appoint a committed and passionate PE Teacher to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for both Key Stage 3 and 4, who can contribute positively to the school community. This role is long-term and full-time, with potential for the right candidate to turn permanent.

About the role:

The role is a full-time opportunity, providing Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons in PE incorporating a number of sports and athletic events. Your lessons will deliver on the National Curriculum in a purposeful and structured fashion, while promoting health and fitness among the school community. The school are looking for someone with thorough knowledge of leading groups in different sports, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
