HGV Delivery Driver

HGV Delivery Drivers required to work on behalf of the council in the Newcastle area, with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering furniture and or white goods to customer`s homes. You will be able to safley drive a heavy good vehicle and be willing to support with manual handling duties.
The Driver will receive:
- £13.50 P/H, paid weekly.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Unpack goods and connect appliances where necessary
- Maintain vehicles by completing daily checks
- 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
I am really keen in speaking to anyone who has:
- A full, clean Category C+E licence (Or hold a category C licence and be prepared to work towards this).
- Experience of delivering furniture and or white goods to customer`s homes.
- A current digital tachograph card
- A CPC card and work within the driver`s hours and working time regulations
- The ability to undertake Manual Handling including household furniture
- Able to work away from home as and when required.
