As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting assessment and discharge planning for elective orthopaedic surgery within our Enhanced Recovery Programme.
• Assisting patients undergoing Joint Replacement surgery and addressing their needs to enable a safe discharge.
• Participating in change management for service improvement and working closely with the physiotherapy team.

The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist role should have:

• Active HCPC registration 
• Experience in the orthopaedic setting.
• Proficiency in linking to community services.
• Competence to work alone and support assistants who support the service.
