Our customer is a leading tour operator in the travel industry, specialising in Arctic and Nordics travel and offering unique, tailor-made travel experiences. They’re now looking for a recently qualified (must be CIMA or ACCA) Accountant to join the team.

Job Description:

As the Accountant you will lead the financial control function, ensuring all company groups receive accurate and timely financial reports.
 

• Design and supervise financial planning processes
• Act as the main point of contact for all financial issues
• Oversee transactions and operations involving multiple currencies
• Track expenses and discover ways to reduce costs
• Manage and control cash flow
• Optimize systems to improve efficiency
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and audit requirements
• Work closely with other department leaders
• Develop and deliver financial reports
• Supervise accounting operations across various locations

Experience Required:
 

• Recently qualified CIMA or ACCA
• Analytical
• Financial planning
• Multi-currency experience
• Forex trading
• Experienced in ERP financial software
• Skilled in MS Office, Excel working with integrated spreadsheets
