Design Manager- London

We are assisting a Fit Out Main Contractor with over £150 million turnover in their search for a highly skilled Design Manager to lead our design team and ensure the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion. As the Design Manager you will oversee the design process, manage the design team, and coordinate with other departments to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that meet both client and business objectives. 

 Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

• Lead the design team by developing and communicating a clear design vision aligned with project and company goals. 

• Oversee the design process from initial concept through to final delivery. 

• Carry out design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the design team. 

• Present design concepts and solutions to clients, addressing any concerns or feedback. 

• Ensure all design outputs meet the required quality standards. 

• Implement and maintain design processes and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy. 

• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align design initiatives with overall business objectives. 

• Degree in Architecture/Design Management or related field. 

• Proficient in updated design software and tools. 

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality in all aspects of design.
