Support Manager Position – Aberdeen

• Salary: £34,750 per annum
• Location: Aberdeen area
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with additional on-call duties as per rota
• Requirements: UK driving license and own vehicle are essential

Our client is looking for an experienced Support Manager, Senior Support Workers, Team Leaders, or Deputy Managers to join their team across three locations in Aberdeen. You will be supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, helping them live life on their own terms.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a managerial role within a small, supportive setting. You’ll be backed by a fantastic team and have the chance to make a real impact. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and effectively manage the team
• Supervise and conduct staff appraisals
• Ensure quality and compliance, including financial audits and updating support plans
• Conduct risk assessments and facilitate person-centered planning meetings
• Attend review meetings for service users
• Provide on-call support as needed
• Build positive relationships with families and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism
• Ability to drive continuous improvement in retention and culture within the teams you oversee
• Ability to foster excellent working relationships with team members, families, professionals, referrers, and other stakeholders
