The School and Role

A vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to fostering a love for learning in our pupils. Our school places a strong emphasis on early literacy, particularly through phonics and fostering a lifelong love of reading. They are seeking a passionate and dynamic Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phonics and be enthusiastic about promoting reading for pleasure among young learners. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for our students' academic success and helping them develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Requirement

To be considered for the role as a Primary Supply Teacher, you will: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
• Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum, able to present a curriculum that is demanding, stimulating and sustaining pupils interest.
• Attend and take part in additional CPD sessions.
• Enhanced and varied classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Supply and participating and interactive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of pupils and encourage a love of learning.
• Actively record, assess and monitor progress and adapt based on a well-rounded view.
