£30 - £32 per hour
Monday to Friday
Day shift
Purpose built workshop
HGV Technician Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service the company’s fleet, including commercial and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all contracted work is performed to VOSA standards.
- Oversee the health and safety protocols within the workshop and for all staff members.
- Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
HGV Technician Requirements/Experience:
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods and commercial vehicles, with at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
- A Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driving license is preferred.
- Candidates with a minimum City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance are preferred.
