Position: Truck Sales Executive
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
About Us:
Our client is a dynamic and well-established motor group specializing in the sale and service of commercial vehicles, including trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by actively prospecting, networking, and cold calling potential clients.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
- Conduct needs analysis with customers to recommend suitable truck models and specifications.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest truck models, features, and industry trends to provide expert advice.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to customers.
- Coordinate with the finance and service departments to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using the company’s CRM system.
- Attend trade shows, events, and other networking opportunities to promote the brand and products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive, preferably within the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of trucks and commercial vehicles, including different models and specifications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve targets.
- Valid UK driving license.
