Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnered with a growing SME based in South Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit a Merchandising Manager to come in and help establish a merchandising function. Working closely with the buying team, this hire will be key in ensuring the business meets its growth targets. This business is very impressive, they are growing, they are profitable and they have no debt! It's a brilliant opportunity for someone to develop something from scratch and put their personal stamp on it.

Ideally you will have experience in a furniture, footwear and/or fashion setting and have experience of working in a fast paced core merchandise planning function.

The business doesn't have a merchandise planning function currently so the ideal candidate will have experience of leading and developing a team as well as being hands on and trading across all categories.

The Ideal Candidate

For this Merchandising Manager position you will have experience in the following:

- Core retail merchandise planning experience, preferably in both corporate and SME settings
- Working in a growing merchandise planning environment
- Building merchandise planning tools from scratch
- Working in a fast paced, trading environment
- Working with product coming from the Far East, Subcontinent and short lead.

This role will be reporting into the senior leadership and will be working with some excellent buying counterparts. It will be part of a business that is growing and successful!
