IT Engineer (Level 2)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: €40-55k p/a DOE plus benefits

We are seeking to hire an experienced Level 2 Engineer on behalf of our client in Dublin.

This role will involve troubleshooting and managing Level 2 IT Support tickets and resolving issues for your clients. You will work on physical and virtual client and server devices, and troubleshoot applications and on premises/Cloud servers, while deploying IT solutions.

Duties:

  • Managing and resolving tickets and service requests designated to you by the Helpdesk Manager
  • Acting as the escalation point-of-contact for Level 2 IT Support tickets
  • Deploying, migrating and documenting IT solutions for your client base
  • Introducing and suggesting new technologies to the management team
  • Overseeing, training and mentoring the activities of the Level 1 Support team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with Office 365 Administration, including M365 tenancy portal, Exchange administration, SharePoint administration and MS Azure Portal
  • Experience with firewall deployment (preferably SonicWall) and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with Intune management and deployment
  • Strong experience with MS Windows Server 2016 and above
  • Ideally you will have certifications including MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, AZ-104, MS 102 and CompTIA Network+, or other relevant certifications
